THE CUSTOMER AND THEIR REQUIREMENTS
Hardings Pharmacy- Annerley QLD is a retail Pharmacy situated in the suburbs of Brisbane within the hospital precinct. Harding Pharmacy operates 24/7 and utilize an Automated Pharmacy Dispensing Robot to pick patient prescriptions.
Why Air Link Systems?
The pharmacy required the Dispensing Robot to deliver prescriptions to 4 different workstations on the shop floor.
The existing Pneumatic Tube system would not interface or operate with the Dispensing Robot so needed to be replaced.
Air Link Systems were invited to tender a proposal and accepted the challenge.
The Solution
The Solution was to design and innovate a system to fit with the existing infrastructure and technologies. Together with our professional partners, Hanter IT, Air Link Systems were able to deliver a simple and reliable solution.
The Impact
The Impact is that Pharmaceutical products are now delivered straight to the workstation whilst staff are consulting with the client (no break in customer interaction) . This improves the customer experience and improves the workflow of the Pharmacy. A workstation is also positioned for the 24-hour window for night transactions.
